Tao cannot be forcibly intervened

If you want to seize the world and reshape it by your own will, I don’t think you will succeed.  
The world is a sacred vessel. It cannot be forced. It cannot be grabbed and held.  
Those who force it will fail. Those who grab it will lose it.

Among all things, some lead and some follow;  
some breathe gently and some breathe hard;  
some are strong and some are weak;  
some are safe and some are broken.

So the sage avoids extremes, avoids extravagance, and avoids excess.
