Can you keep spirit and body united as one and never let them drift apart?
Can you gather your vital energy and make it soft, like a newborn baby?
Can you wash clean the deep mirror of your heart and leave it without a single flaw?
Can you love the people and govern the country without forcing anything?
Can you let your senses open and close in response to the world while holding to quiet and yielding?
Can you understand all things clearly without relying on cleverness?
It gives life and nourishes all things. It gives them life but does not possess them. It acts but does not depend on its own ability. It nurtures them but does not rule over them. This is called deep and mysterious virtue.
